Bagasse Tableware
Sugarcane Bagasse Tableware – Compostable Food Packaging from Renewable Fiber
Bagasse tableware is manufactured from sugarcane fiber, a byproduct of sugar production that would otherwise be burned or landfilled. Our molded pulp process transforms this agricultural waste into sturdy, food-safe plates, bowls, clamshells and trays suitable for hot and cold foods up to 100°C.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is bagasse tableware made from?
Bagasse tableware is made from sugarcane fiber left after juice extraction. The fiber is cleaned, pulped and molded under high pressure and heat into rigid food containers. No synthetic additives or PFAS chemicals are used.
Is bagasse tableware microwave and freezer safe?
Yes. Bagasse products can be used in microwaves (up to 100°C) and freezers (down to -20°C) without warping or releasing harmful substances. They are not oven-safe above 120°C.
How long does bagasse take to compost?
Under industrial composting conditions (58°C+, controlled moisture), bagasse tableware fully decomposes within 60 to 90 days. Home composting takes longer, typically 3-6 months depending on conditions.
What is the MOQ for bagasse tableware orders?
Our standard MOQ is 5,000 pieces per item. For custom printing or mold orders, minimum quantities start at 10,000 pieces. We offer sample packs for evaluation before bulk orders.
